Since its been totally dead here, I figured it wouldn't hurt to post a youtube link from one of my runs this past weekend. It wasn't that fast, didn't win my class, but was a fun drive none the less.

I was out on a set of Hoosier Street Tds that either never got warm or are starting to heat cycle out. The race was huge, we had at least 200 cars show up with a few SCCA national champs there. Vic Sias took TTOD in his M3.

Yes, it has been pretty dead around here for awhile, but for alot of us, it is off season.
Thanks for posting!

Looks like I did ok considering the tires I was running. http://www.norcalufo.org/main/attachmen ... 1-2010.pdf
I'm down the page quite a bit racing EP. The other guy in class has won it for the past decade straight, and has a very well prepped 510. At the first event of the season (Jan 1) he was pretty close to TTOD. I had to run my Alfa since it was raining here, it was beautiful down there however. I was a full 10 seconds slower (ouch) I think the roadster will be right there with him with the slicks on. I was able to beat him back in 08 when I had a new set of V710s on the car. There is hope I can drag this out, and if it rains there is a chance he won't run, or that I can beat him with the GTV on street tires. Only time will tell.

Well... Things have changed. The roadster is not healthy for the first time in years. Found lower timing chain roller pieces on the magnetic drain plug. It looks like I got lucky, nothing came apart, and it still runs fine, however its a ticking time bomb. Its likely done for the rest of the season. We'll see what I find when I pull it apart.
60K+ miles on the bottom end with tons of runs to redline, the timing gears and chains however only have about 15K miles.

I'll sell you a nice KA24DE. I have two. One is 11.5 to one compression normally aspirated and is currently in the race car. The other is on the engine stand being assembled. It is 9.2 to 1 compression and has a supercharger.

Why on earth would I want a KA? I don't have a Nissan truck, nor do I have a 240SX.
