Major Board Meltdown, slowly recovering

Postby Chris Coker » Thu Sep 06, 2007 9:35 pm

Not sure what happened, but most of you know the board has been down for a while. Something got corrupted in the database, and things went downhill from there.

Here's where we're at as of today.
My latest backup was June 3, 2007, so any posts, or member signups since then are lost. My sincerest apologies.

The basic board is back up and running, so we can get back to the business why we're all here...talking about racing roadsters. I get the bells and whistles back up shortly. It's take me about 8 hours total to get things back to this point. about 7.5 hours of trial and error frustations, and 30 mintues of actually productive work.

Lesson learned: I need to make more regular backups.

Thanks for your patience.
Chris C.

Many thanks. I am addicted to the site. I was starting to have withdraw symptoms.

Chris, excellent to have the board up again! Thanks buddy. I was really missing my daily fix. Order has returned to the universe; we are saved.

Do it in a datsun (and then tell us how you did!)
