1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster
Former SCCA G/P car owned by Bill Howe, Runoffs in 2001.
In process of ground up restoration. Media blasted frame and body, new Vintage Style cage. Rear flares replaced with stock steel vintage fenders. Car currently primered and in need of finishing off the bodywork repairs. Can supply pictures of current state.
1600 cc with JE Pistons, Crower cam, roller rockers, REV valves.
5spd 2000 gearbox, Panasports, 8 gallon ATL cell, fire system.
Datsun Competion springs with Konis, front roll bar, rear panhard bar.

Spares:
Complete stock 1600cc Engine
Several blocks, race heads, pistons, rod sets, etc...
2ea 5 spd 2L gearboxes & a couple of 4spd gearboxes.
Complete rear axle assy incl springs.
Numerous diffs and ratios, including 2 limited slips.
Complete front end assy incl steering.
Doors, hood & trunk lid.
14" x 6" Vector Style Alloy wheels.
15" x 7" Bart Steel wheels with Hoosier rains.
Several complete sets of brakes, axles, carburettors, etc...

Selling because I bought a second Vintage Mini to race and have no time (or money left) to finish off this project in a timeframe sufficient to satisfy my wife. Located in D/FW area

Please tell me your not building Chrissy her own mini. We will never be able to keep up with her. I sure would be interested in your car are you going to motorsports ranch the 2-4 of Dec if so we can talk then.

Guys just to let you know Chrissy is Trevor's daughter, all of about 16/17 I think and a great racer to boot. As much as I hate to admit it she must get her driving skills from her Dad......thank god she gets her looks from her mom.

Yes I'll be at MR with the Green Mini I just bought from Harry Lydick. I broke a couple of pinion teeth off the red Mini and I said that once it finally broke something I'd go through it to make it a Grp 2 contender. Harry's car has got all the goodies I wanted for my car, so there's going to be some swapping around to make sure I have a faster car than my daughters. Make sure you see me down at MR if I don't track you down first.

Yes I still have this car for sale. I have sold one of the two LSDs on ebay. Price is very negotiable, I need to get my Cooper S put back together which isn't cheap.

The 4:62's with the LSD that he sold on Ebay would have worked with the
Roadster. What ever happened on the Brute (sp) LSD you were looking in to?
