1600 parts needed.

We need good 1600 core engines. That means blocks with crank, rods and pistons and complete heads.

We will also need intakes with carbs at some point.

We can trade services for the parts if you wish. If you have something, cal us and we'll talk about it.

Thanks!

Bill Wessel is Famous!

For those of you that have your new Motorsports catalog, look closely at the Roadster section picture. It's Bill!

Andy,

Your right!
My apoligies!

It's cool that someone finally got the 1600 in there.
I always wondered why the 1500 was classified but not the 1600

I disagree with some of Nomadtrash statements. The 2003 Solo rule book list the Roadster in E prepared as a 2000. If you get you protested that is what they will go by. Not the actual cc as 1987. Nissan list this cars cc as 2000 also. The weight of the 2L in prod is also based on a cc of 2000. The 1...

Sorry about that!
I did a spell check and it removed the weights.

The Roadster fits in
G production with a 1600 @ 2020lbs
E production with a 2000 @ 2050lbs

C Street Prepared with a 2000 @ ?
E Prepared with a 2000 @ 2100lbs

Hey guys watch when your talking about vehicle weights. There are Prod guys and Autox guys on the list and the cars have different requirements. I have seen this confusion before so make it clear what class your talking about. The Roadster fits in G production with a 1600@ lbs E production with a 20...

Yes, Bill did finish fifth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D It was the best we could do with out someone crashing out or breaking. Bill went from sixth to fifth when he dove on the inside of Jeff Winter with just a couple of laps to go. I can't wait for the speedtv coverage!! We've been celebrati...

Depends on your engine combination but 20 - 25 hp seems resonable.

Solex intake for R1600

Yes, that's not a misprint. This is a intake mainfold to mount Solex carbs on a R1600 motor.. It has been ported. It came off an old autocross motor that had the head ported also. It includes the linkage.

$250 plus shipping.

If your interested I should have pictures in the next couple of days.

4.375 diff

I have a 4.375 from a truck available. It's in good condition except some rust on the side gears. These would have to be changed to fit the Roadster axles anyhow. If I can find a spare set of side gears, I will throw them in the deal also.

$200 plus shipping.
